The investigation was complete, for weeks. All loose ends tied up. Closed. Justifiable homicide.

The boots on the ground, as well as the lawyer in that county, were convinced there was no case. None.

Based on watching the actual witnesses, the boots got it right that night, and in the investigation in total.

Florida law is clear. Sorry anyone disagrees.

I do not have all the facts (just like the rest of us). But Trayvon's actions seem to have contributed to the physical confrontation and the resulting poor outcome.
I am not saying Martin was 100% innocent or a choir boy. This is about Zimmerman's actions as he is the one on trial. Martin paid the price for his actions.

Well apparently some people disagreed because he is on trial. Sometimes things get covered up.

No, the information is at your fingertips (need some links?) but you're incapable of admitting that you might be wrong. The case was done, clean shoot. Political pressure brought on upon by Al Sharpton and the like that made the governor appoint a special prosecutor. Political pressure made the PD Chief have to resign his job but that doesn't bother you? Will it bother you if Zimmerman walks and a good cop had to leave his career early? Will you be rending your clothing over how cops are treated then? I haven't heard a word out of you on how political pressure completely made police judgement on this case a political circus. Odd, that.

The "some people" was Angela Corey, the Florida State Attorney appointed by the Governor to look into the case after the protests for the month following Zimmerman's non-arrest.

I think if you look in to her professional history (even a simple Google) it will reveal that she has a penchant for overcharging and an interest in political outcomes rather than ones that are interested in "truth" or objective justice.

You and I disagree its as simple as that and there is no need for such banter.

Do you believe that the evidence supports the notion that GZ exited his car with the intention of killing TM? A simple and direct response is appreciated.

No that would be first degree murder.

I am very capable of admitting I am wrong but this is not one of those times.

Those people bypassed the Grand Jury because they knew the Grand Jury would no bill it. They appointed a special prosecutor, who took all the PROFESSIONAL data and dismissed it in favor of ever-changing statement(s) of a now admitted racist, illiterate, waste of oxygen who was 250 miles away in Miami.

The people who were there, when investigated, all corroborated GZ's version of events. Even people who think they are helping TM's memory are actually substantiating the events as outlined by GZ, and pointing to a desperate fight for life -- a fight GZ was losing.

Florida law is clear, GZ had a right to shoot TM independent of anything the state can prove he did to this point.

CNN, HuffPost, ABC, CBS and other liberally run outlets seem to be the only holdouts that GZ is guilty of anything.

The cops on scene, and in Sanford in general, got it right. How can anyone who has seen the evidence, or testimony, to this point believe anything else?

True. Sometimes they do, but I see no evidence of that here.

From the very moment that Florida special prosecutor Angela Corey announced that second-degree murder charges were being filed against Zimmerman, it was apparent to anyone with even the slightest capacity for objectivity that this was a racially-provoked, politically-motivated witch hunt. Nothing more.

I clearly remember listening to her language and watching her demeanor and feeling absolutely ashamed of our legal system. She was leading, on eerily overly-familiar terms with the Martin family and clearly in hot pursuit of a verdict that was completely unsupported by the evidence -- then or now.

Perhaps Zimmerman was an idiot. Perhaps he was a decent guy just trying to do the right thing. It really doesn't matter because, in the end, he had to use deadly force to stop an altercation that left him in fear for his life. A tragedy for all, yes ... but not a criminal act by any stretch of the imagination.
