I had a couple decent exchanges with him. Then he asked me if I would send him some batteries (because I work at interstate batteries) so I did and he told me he sent $20 in the mail. Never got the $20. Numerous emails and nothing from him. I know it's only $20 but definitely sucks getting screwed.

Would he really go through all of that effort to scam a bolt carrier? That just seems bizarre.

Done a ton of EE transactions here, no problem at all.

This wasn't an EE transaction - this guy solicited me in the AR General Discussion thread.

It happens, I guess.

I know it sounds like Monday morning Quarterbacking but I'd never trust anyone that was as new as he was here, especially during that time, with a bolt carrier. Even if it was a well respected veteran, I'd still have some hesitations...

This thread infuriates me. I am not infuriated by the people that posted in it, but by the crook who scammed 30 cal slut. I despise scammers of any kind!
