This is kind of a common question, and there may be other threads with tons of info you may not get here. I just picked up a noveske stripped lower, but if you are looking to keep cost down many lowers share similar attrabutes so that being said the obvious options DD bcm colt, ect, but I know several people happy with psa, rr and cmmg lowers. A lot of it is what you put in it.

The common answer to your question that I see on this site is that an in-spec lower is an in-spec lower, regardless of whose roll mark is on it. Put good parts in it and it should be GTG.

Excellent. Just wanted to confirm that. I was going to put the Colt LPK in whatever one I got.

I have both a Fulton Armory and a SI Defense. Both are in spec and acceptable quality. FYI, the Fulton Armory is basically a re-badged DPMS lower. The SI Defense is a good deal for a matched upper/lower, when I got my set it was around ~$500. It is billet, and the upper has FA, if those are considerations for you.
