    Not terribly relevant, I know, but for purely sentimental reasons, one of the sillier things that I like about .300 BLK is having the ability to fire a purposed AR round that offers a capability very similar to the old 7.92 Kurz. What was old has become new again.

    For a casual shooter, hunter, and competition shooter, the 300BLK has a lot to offer.

    I don't know what the hate was all about a few posts back. I've never owned 6.8 or 6.5 and have no desire to, but I don't put that cartridge down because I don't like it. Those calibers serve their particular purposes as much as 300BLK does.

    If you are a reloader, or intend to SBR/suppress your AR15, the 300BLK is a very viable option. If not, then there are other alternatives as well.
