    Old 7.62 Nato ammo

i have a chance to buy some old (1950's) ammo,

FA 60 and LC 55. some tracer and A few AP.

are the AP worth anything? will the tracerslight?

is it corrosive? so many questions...

    thanks

    Old 7.62 Nato ammo

Was the ammo in a sealed container?

I recently saw some LC .50 BMG API dated 1944 that looked brand new and worked just fine. The ammo came in cans that required a Spam can key to open it. The cans were marked "Not fit for food storage" though.

If your ammo is in the same shape I wouldn't hesitate getting it or worry about it functioning.

All U.S. military arsenal produced 7.62mm NATO ammunition has exclusively used noncorrosive primers.

Is the AP worth anything? Do you mean as in function or collectable?
