I concur, FDE rail covers or ladders would look impressive on that rifle.

I would guess wear would be the biggest issue for the rail. several sharp surfaces and constant placing and removing of accessories.

It looks really nice, and if I had the money I would be considering it.

It'd be even nicer if it came with the new CMR 14" rail.

Correct. It is the MOD 1 (1.5" in length).

It wears off easily and is "too much" of a color as well. It is also a huge PITA to do properly.

Right. As you again create the FDE/Black combo on the rail.

Grant, you would hate my rifles. At least the BCM comps on mine are left black.

I also braced myself for the ass kicking on my wallet for this rifle, but I am all about "too much" of a color on mine, also I need to move soon so..

I doubt BCM has the time to refinish these receivers themselves.
I wonder who it is in SE WI that did it.

I didn't think we had any Cerakote certified guys in state.

I'm broke but I'm buying one. Grant, would it be an option to switch out the stock for a B5 SOPMOD or similar for an additional cost?
