Gas tube properly aligned? BCG lubed properly? What spring & buffer (not sure if that would make a difference)? Can you provide the full specs of your rifle?

    I've circled the problem areas.

This is what properly aligned feedramps look like:

One more question...have you had feeding issues when actually firing the rifle or just when hand-cycling?

Unfortunately you didn't spend wisely. My first guess is the magazines. I would get KNOWN quality magazines and ensure that you are properly lubing the weapon. Hand cycling rounds is not a way to properly check feeding.

No issues when firing using the troy mag.

Had a couple with the metal mags.

    Noticed it wouldn't dry cycle.

Oh, but all AR's are the same, you're just paying more for a name and a rollmark, right?

First, I would try and get my $ back. If this is impossible, I'd be sending the rifle back, at their expense, to be fixed correctly. Then sell it and buy a quality rifle. In a market with multiple quality manufacturer's, no reason to buy one with questionable properties.

Clean the rifle, lube it properly and test fire it with a GI magazine and decent ammunition. If you have the same problems, then start looking at the rifle. If not, you have identified your magazines as the problem.

LUBE THE RIFLE and cycle the bolt many times. I've seen many rifles with feed ramps misaligned like that operating.

Stick a pmag in also as advised.

I'd hate to sell it though. It has all the parts I wanted.

They said they'll fix it if it has firing problems when I test a quality mag.
