Had a couple with the metal mags.

They may be similar to a PMag and cover up the feed ramp extensions allowing for proper function while with most USGI mags (and their poor copy's=> Elanders which are known for feeding issues) they only come up to the bottom of the feed ramp extensions. That being said, a pmag could bandaid the situation.

You do realize for that much money you could have a way better rifle right?

For 1500$ I shouldn't have to band aid. So I am getting pretty fed up and I only make min wage. It took me 8 months to save up.

I should bought factory and upgraded it but I wanted to give a local business a chance.

I should note the metal mags I can't manually push the rounds out. I have to ply them out whereas troy pops em out.

I will see next week when I get paid And try tapco and p mags

I'll posy a pic of the feed issue when I get home from work.

No tapco mags. Just p mags. If it won't cycle with pmags then I would sell it and get a decent rifle.

Oh, but all AR's are the same, you're just paying more for a name and a rollmark, right?

If it's any consolation, you're not the first to get taken (personal experience) and certainly not the last. If anything, use it to trade up with.

$1500.00 for a spare parts Frankenstein? That's some shady business.
