This is my first AR, I didn't know where to start so i contacted the local company. The owner himself dealt with me and i like that.
I hate giant corporations and trusted him to deliver.
Wasn't really searching for the best bang for my buck, just wanted someone honest and local. Well in-state local at least.
The wylde barrel and Adams Arms Piston kit was the most important things and i love the samson evo rail.
By shaking the mag, the bolt flies closed. So that makes me think it is the mags even more so.
There is some indentations on the brass. It does this with clean ammo to, this round just happen to be the one photographed. Trying to find a host for the malfunction images.

Troy battlemags are fine. No idea where the sudden 180 degree turn this thread has pulled on them came from.
Your upper (at the very least) should be sent back to the manufacturer immediately for crap quality work.

My head hurts. OP- you don't want to listen to what people are telling you. I'll be blunt. You got screwed by whomever sold this to you. They sold you something (and I'll guess they used the panic sale and the fact that you didn't know about AR's to seal the deal) that is a cobbled together POS.
Get a PMAG and a USGI mag and the Troy mag. If you have feeding problems with them its not the magazines. For the record I know a handful of people who have used Troys with no issue.
DPMS and YHM are not companies to go to for quality parts.
You need to LUBE the weapon, stop the hand cycling nonsense and shoot it.
