jmart, I was told over at LF.net that the ACS was not due out for several months. That was from one of the Magpul employees.

Any pictures of this stock available yet? It sounds like just the ticket for a build I'm considering...

Looks nice. That does look like one of the "mock up" versions at the SHOT Show (done in some wimpy plastic to prove the concept). So I would not be surprised if minor change show up in production versions.

    Does anyone know if:

Will the ACS accept the rubber butt pads used on the CTR?

If not, will butt pads be offered?

What's the storage compartment set up for? Will it operate like the MIAD, with variable drop-ins, custom-tailored for different parts, or is it an open compartment?

Is this like a lighter version of the UBR for lighter carbines?
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

No, it's like a more badass version of the CTR. CTR plus SOPMOD like cheek weld and what's probably better storage.
