My recent purchase of an Aimpoint PRO left me disappointed. Sighting through the smaller rear aperture makes everything GOOD. I run a lower 1/3 mount so it is simple. Don't worry about the fuzzy dot up close. For a longer shot just get down on the gun a little harder to pickup the rear sight and the dot is perfect. Thanks to all who suggested it. GH

On a red dot sight, Aimpoint or Eotech, the red dot is projected onto the target plane. If you try to focus on the dot itself 6 inches in front of your face (which many people do), it will be blurry/pixelated/blobby. Focus on the target that you see through the sight. The red dot will be in best focus.
