Have you ever attempted to troubleshoot it? Unless something is terribly wrong (with the lower), I am pretty sure that you have a defective hammer spring, the trigger pin is jacked or you have something incorrectly installed.

Unfortunately, my SBR is a DPMS lower, so I'm stuck with the damned thing since my name is engraved on it. It isn't bad, but for the trigger pins that walk out after a few mags. I tried getting the ATF to cancel the DPMS stamp and issue me a new stamp on another lower because of this, and they outright laughed at me.

The holes are apparently oversized. I checked the springs for condition and installation, and they seem fine. I swapped LPKs with my GF's 6920 (or her Spike's lower. I can't recall), and had the same issue.

I 'got lucky' the first class but didn't trust it after the second class.
    Lesson learned.

You could try some oversized pins first but if thats not enough, time for KNS pins. Sucks to have to "bandaide"...

If that is the case then you have a few options. Use KNS pins or get another lower, build it and check it first then apply for another stamp. I would probably keep the lower and use it for a .22 build or training aid.

The 'List' has become a marketing tool for some lower tier mfrs, and some mfrs are using it to actually upgrade their products or at least offer something close to 'List' specs. And that's great. I am glad they are putting some effort into making a better product. At Delton you can now by a carbine with MPI inspected bolt, M4 ramps, etc. etc. and even get one with an FN 1-7 barrel for close to a grand. But a Colt 6920 with Magpul furniture can be had for $1059. No brainer.

A little rough on the DMPS....

My son uses a DPMS 11.5" as his go to gun. CQB, long distance, everything in between. According to him, it rocks. The damn thing takes a beating and keeps going (although in full disclosure the sling is from an old Colt 6920 kit).

Dude, is that the new Cerakote "Blue Man Group" color? I heard it works great as an "urban circus camo"?
