    I have a question I haven't been staying up on my bcm products so are they not producing their original kmr anymore or are they going to produce both the old kmr and the new aluminum one

    Sorry to necro post... but I really got an appreciation for the light weight characteristics of the KMR/ELW a few weeks back. I was helping out on a few Elk hunts and had to hump an AR around in the forest. I took the KMR the first time, and a suppressed 11.5 the second. The KMR was SO MUCH more mountain friendly. It wasn't even close.
