Read the thread and stop saying "I hope for XX" length's", and "I wonder how much it will cost"

You are cluttering up the thread with questions that haven been answered IN this thread!!!

The one I handled last week on Travis Haley's carbine was black. It is a very light rail and the overall feel of the carbine was good.

Good to hear. Was the one you handled a light weight barrel or standard profile?

IQ, So in comparison and your expertise, will the BCM be the next winner winner Chicken Dinner up against the NSR?

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

The last thing I want to do is hurt you,
but it's still on my list.

Looking at the pics I took, it was a 14.5" standard profile with pinned BCM Comp.

One thing certain about the firearms market is nothing is certain. I don't have all the info about it, and until I can handle it more, install a few or at least one to see how it works, etc... it's hard to say.

In the past with very few exceptions Paul has put out some good stuff.

Yeah lookin back at his AND pats they are standard... Which brings the question, why put so much emphasis on being the lightest rail out, then NOT put it on lw barreled uppers that are being tested by these guys? Iirc the weight difference is between 3-4 oz on a 14.5 am I right?
