I am currently testing the Innovative Arms W.A.R. upper that features a very quick-to-use gas regulator, right in the upper, left side, front, just under the rail. Sofar, real good.

Not familiar with the Ind. Ammo but if it's remanufactured even a mild load could lose a primer if the case it was loaded in had an oversized primer pocket from being a 5.56 fired n a .223 chamber. A student recently brought me a cartridge where the primer had fallen out as he was loading it into the magazine.... I could see extractor and ejector imprints on it, and it was a NATO-marked case, and yup, the primer pocket would not hold the primer in at all. I'm surprised it made it into the box in fact.

Contact Barry Duecke at Sure Fire and ask him. He's a really good guy and knows everything about the suppressors.

The Independence ammo is actually Federal Independence M193. It is made in Israel for Federal from new components.

From all accounts it is hot ammo like the others.

    Really HOT!

I tried some and it did not last long in my mag before I dumped it.

    Why? Was it causing malfunctions?

It was wierd, it really didn't cause any malfunctions aside from one torn rim, but the recoil was real odd feeling and the cases showed signs of over pressure so I ditched the stuff.

This was in my CQBR clone so it may have been a small factor.

Thanks guys for your help. I just had back and neck surgery so it will be a bit until I can get back to the dealer and try supressor with some different ammo. I'm really thinking it was just to hot of ammo. I'm going to switch to an H2 buffer and pick up some 223 chambered ammo and go from their. Thanks again.
