    Exactly. I hand load for my .308 as well using 178gr AMAX bullets, and the 175 SMKs in Federal Gold Medal Match are the closest thing I can get to my hand loads. They are fantastic factory out-of-the box loads, and I agree that their factory must be a sight to see!

    If price "wasn't a factor" I'd be using Lake City 7.62 NATO ammo.

    If price wasn't a factor, what ammo would you be shooting?

    I'd continue shooting my reloads, as I've always done....but I would certainly be trying more of the new powders and bullet designs.
