I like how you photographed your steps - sometimes otherwise obstinate individuals can be convinced with pictures of the failings of their "as good as" carbine.

The telling part of this is the torque value that the key screws released at. Well done.

So are you doing them all the same way? How many did you get? 10 minutes in labor probably won't be worth adding to the cost of the rifle considering you will know you are selling a quality product but what about the parts involved? I guess it is just a matter of a few screws, o-ring, insert and buffer. What's the additional cost going to be since you do have to add this to the rifles?

Doesn't measure cant per se but there is such a thing as a sight alignment gage. Installs in a carry handle and extends forward to the front sight.

Grant. all the issues you posted in your first post with the pictures, are the same issues I found with the first two BM Rifles that I received for T&E. Except the first two did not have feed ramps. When I tried to zero the rifles the FSP almost fell out of the base at the end of the zeroing process. I talked with BM, told them of the issues and they sent me two more rifles that had taller FSP installed. So far I have only had time to zero the second two rifles. Hopefully this week I can get them out and shoot them.

Glad to see that you are selling fixed rifles. It's ashamed they cannot get it right at the factory.

Thanks. I wanted to create a "before and after" type discussion so people could see what was done.

Agree. I intend to take apart more companies gas keys and find out what values they are using in the future.

Yes, I am doing them all the same way. We got a handful of them in (other order has not shown up yet).

I added a little to what our cost would be on an non-modified BM as I have extra parts in it. My labor was basically free.

    Price on these is $910.
