Interesting.....makes all my other mounts look like bricks.
Got my Aero Precision 1" ultralight mount. I'm very pleased with this mount. I was thrilled to see that they chose to use Torx screws instead of allen. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get the mount/scope installed on my new MWS until 2 weeks from now in order to fully wring it out. For $85 it appears to be a steal. Plus right now they are offering free shipping and 5% off.

What size Torx head? I can't get over how little material is there. It'll either be this or a PEPR.

I'm also really curious about the interlock joint on the top of the rings. Visible flex or tension when tightening the bolts or is it a non-stressed joint?
Also, Aero now lists them @ $79.99.

It's a T15 Torx head.
I have not seen any indication of visible flex. I took the scope out of the mount this evening to check to see if there were any marks on the scope tube - none. I am looking forward to getting it mounted on my LMT MWS and trying it out.
I just installed one for a friend with a Kahles 1-6. He is going with an offset RMR and no BUIS.
It's a solid mount. Great design and execution.
I just bought one for myself for an AR-22.
I have no reservations about the interlocking tabs.
I'm a little skeptical about the strength.
What is the finish like on these? Is it a rough anodizing (like on most AR receivers) or smooth like on a Burris PEPR?
