I sent them an email yesterday regarding this scope mount. I am looking to buy one to try out, but I am awaiting their response before I pull the trigger.
I asked them for the height of the center of the scope rings above the rail, the distance between the scope rings, and what kind of warranty they offer on it. If I do buy one, depending on their response, I will offer my opinion here on this mount once I have it.

edited to add no affiliation. just an affinity for uber lightness
I have a 1" model. It weighs just a hair over 3oz. It's a very nice mount for the money. The machining and finish are quite nice. I really like the way the upper ring connects are machined. At this weight it's long term durability will be something to watch, but Aero seems to be on top of their product.

The mount is 1.5" high to the center. It's 3.45" between the rings. Don't know about the warranty.

The claws are actually pretty short and thick.

Interesting take. Is there a particular offset mount that you recommend for the T-1? Also, a particular location that you find is optimal?
I am not him but I have run a off set T1/R1 for a while and only recently stopped using that sight. For the T1 the Larue mount is great providing it will clear the rear eye piece on your
scope. I have found you will pick the dot up faster if its mounted as far back as you can get it. I am currently running a Delta Point on a 45 Degree off set on my SCAR now in conjunction with my TR 24 Accupoint which I hope to replace soon with another Vortex 1-6. The 45 degree off set will allow you to clear scopes with larger eye pieces like the Swarovski and Vortex 1-6 scopes.

1st to get one please post review.

I suppose will have to order one to try.

I use the newer KAC 45 degree offset on the right side. Smaller and lighter than some other offerings. Clears luepy 3-18x windage knob.

There are certainly valid points to having a micro-T atop a vari-optic too. But 45 works for me.
