they look like they make the scope sit super high compared to an ADM or Larue...or is it just me?

Aero definitely put some thought into them. And I bet they spent a lot of time FEA'ing them. The design, machining, and finish is great.
looking forward to a range report hopefully before the sale and free shipping ends![]()
Interested in how the hooks on top of the ring hold up!
This mount doesn't really shift the scope forward. The rear ring basically goes straight up (from the rear edge of the base), not forward. I think that would be a deal breaker for me, for what I use.
Most of the competitors' products that I have seen have rear rings that shift the scope forward.

Yup. I may have jumped the gun on purchasing one of these. No range time yet, but I mounted it yesterday. I, definitely, wish it had more forward thrust; with the mount as far forward on the receiver as possible, I still have to move my stock out one click to get proper eye relief. I know this has more to do with my scope than the mount, I just wish Ultralight was more like the SPR mounts by LaRue.
Oh, and, of course, I forgot to weigh it before I got everything mounted, but it's very light compared to the LT-104 I held it next to.
Any updated pictures from owners of this mount. I'd like to see the mount/optic mounted on the rifle itself.
This forum is the only one that is really talking about this mount. At least it's the only forum I belong to that has a long discussion about the mount.
