I have a Larue 660 on one T1, about to get another for another rifle and would like opinions on mounts. I like the kac one but id like to know which has the best return to zero(lever mount)
I'd also like pros/cons of other mounts

I run a Daniel defense mount on mine.
Why? Because its as tough as the T1 and I'll never need to take it off.
I don't understand why so many people pay the extra money for a QD lever. Personally, I'd also just go with the DD.
Sic semper tyrannis.
I can see it for certain applications in switching optics but that is something I just don't require.
Yet Wake one day-one very fine day-you will wake up. The sun will rise and then you will wake from your non qd slumber and the scales will be peeled back from your eyes with the revelation that.......you aren't cool without quick detaching.
It will come to you my friend.

ETA: Now (warning: hypocrisy follows) after remembering something that has happened to me on more than one occasion where I live I-if money permiting-would still choose a QD on a business rifle.
Exhibit A: Where I live we are very susceptible to high humidity due to random heavy rain and then minutes later blazing sun. Which has a great effect on glass. It likes to make optics glass translucent. 3 weeks ago my best friend and I were doing some movement drills. I was breathing pretty hard and brought the rifle up to look through the variable and it was almost completely fogged. Next I rolled the rifle left to pick up the offset MRDS. Fogged but still could be used. Although it seriously slowed my time down.
With that in mind if the worst happens and something similar occurs then the QD gives me the option to rip that thing off and strictly use fog proof irons.

QD for me. Makes cleaning and such so easy with a scope mount. I'm sure I probably won't take off my Aimpoint anytime soon but whenever I do I will appreciate the QD![]()

Exactly! I also only have one H1 right now so its pulling double duty between 2 rifles.
Ive run the 660 and now use the HK mount and like both. Both maintan zero when removed though some have reported issues with some of the screws loosening in the HK. Never an issue for me since I loctite.
I will never use a fixed mount on a serious rifle. Have had a few occasions where the perfect combination of humidity, fog, heavy breathing, rain, and steam made my T-1 useless so it had to be removed in order to use the buis. Those with fixed mounts were dead in the water.

(@Wake27)Yes but its got the Larue 751. My next H1 will have the 660 QD. I think Jax nailed it if the glass ever cracks and sight to my flip up irons is gone I have the ability to rip it off and use the irons because the odds of having a tool close by wont be very good. Its not about Gucci or high tech its about simple and effective. I also train a lot with just irons so being able to take it off and put it in my pocket and keep training is nice.
