Looks like it is a solid mount. After having a name brand highspeed polymer mount fail me and having switched to a gear sector mount this new blackhawk mount looks promising given the small price tag.
Anyone have firsthand knowledge on this mount? 1" tube rating probably means that the G2 Tactical will work in it? I don't know.

It's still pretty new. It should clamp down onto the G2 if it measures out at 1" (or slightly above).
