this ammo shortage is complete BS! 6.8 rant

I've been wanting a 6.8 for better hunting and just having the option to shoot powerful loads from my AR. It seems like the 6.8 is dead for the past 6 months or more. This is complete bullshit! We have no choice but to use a 308 bolt gun because only military calibers are available.

Now, I know 77grn 223 easily takes medium game but Jesus, I want to shoot a 6.8 semi auto without the need for a 11lbs gun! Man I'm pissed. Wtf. That is all.

Not too bad thanks! Maybe I should just get the upper I want. This came up because I love my AR and hate my current bolt gun. I don't know why I hate it, it just feels like a mushy bolt actuation.

That's funny! I can go into my local Gander Mountain or Walmart and without fail, pick up 2 or 3 different loads in 6.8!!!!

Go figure. I've probably got a couple-hundred rounds of 6.8 laying around, and not much else (aside from a modest emergency stash of XM193, of course) besides hunting fodder.

The shortages are bad. The prices are worse.
