    Does anyone actually make this?

So I've had a .308 AR project sitting unfinished in my safe since November. I periodically see the remaining parts I need go in and out of stock (Rainier Ultramatch barrels, .308 BCGs, 7.62 Raptor, etc).

But the main thing keeping the project in limbo is the upper receiver. I don't want to use junk just because it was available. But it seems like I can't actually find something that meets these specs:

    - DPMS pattern
    - 7075 (at a minimum) aluminum
    - No M4 cuts (the Ultramatch barrel is rifle cut, I'd like to stay consistent)
    - "High" profile top rail

Has anyone seen something like this?

    Well...facts being what they are....

308 AR companies don't make parts to fit other people's stuff. It's just the way of things when there is no "standard."

The only two ways I see to go from here are to sell the lower that I've got and pick up a MATEN set when one becomes available, or just sit tight and buy the other parts I need while waiting for a matching .308 upper to return to market. Lesson learned about buying from small shop guys who got overwhelmed by the great rush of 2013 and focused only on AR-15 lower production.
