    Ok, put some oil on it, let it sit for a minute or two and wiped it off and then applied some powder.

    Been sitting there for 3 mins now and nothing.

    Looks like it was just cosmetic, appreciate all the awesome tips everyone.

    No, its an old Spikes Tactical lower that I got for a killer deal from my local dealer.
