Deltapoint 7.5 MOA vs. RMR 3.25 MOA

Funny thing is, I started that thread, but circumstances have changed. I actually now have a Trijicon RMR 3.25 MOA (RMR01, LED) and I have a Leupold Deltapoint 7.5 MOA on it's way, the Bushnell is long gone and the shotgun I was thinking about putting it on is long gone as well.

So to add a twist to this thread (and make a long story as short as possible), I bought a 9mm M&P CORE, couldn't find the dot as quick as I wanted, sold it, sorta regretted it, but a .40 CORE with the intention on putting the Deltapoint on it, thinking the bigger window will help with the bigger dot (deltapoint)...

But now I'm really sorta confused as to which MRDS I should put on the VEPR 12 and which I should put on the CORE. I'm still leaning towards putting the RMR on the VEPR 12 & Deltapoint on the CORE, but I could see an argument the other way around (using the point for slugs at range, the body of the deltapoint for shot). I might be over thinking this, but that's just something I have a tendency to do...

What does that have to do with putting an RMR on a shotgun????

As far as handling recoil, the RMR's have proven their durability mounted directly to handgun slides. The abuse on a reciprocating handgun slide is a much harsher environment than being mounted on a stationary point on a shotgun, semi-auto or pump.

I have had a couple different variations of the RMR on my shotguns since they came out. I currently have the RM07 on top of some Benelli M4's. They run like a dream and function 100%.
