Does anyone know if the Springfield "Scout-Squad" can take a suppressor? If yes, are there any limitations, and do I need to modify the weapon in any way to make it work?

I am unsure what special problem the Scout may have. But I have run a few hundred rounds down range with a post sample M14 with a can instaled. Not great fun. It seems that the M1A1 design throws a fair amount of crap and gas back at your face. Not all that fun. If you are gonna do it you may want to find a USGI breech deflector sheild that was used to solve the gas problem when firing blanks with the blank adaptor attached. If ya got an FN FAl put the can on it much more civilized.
