Anyone with an ADM 30mm QD Mount? Need measurment or pics

Does anyone have an ADM 30mm Scout or Recon set with a scope in it?

I need a picture of the top rings to see if anyone else has top ring sections that are "touching". If not touching, how much of a gap you have.

If someone has a set that isn't mounted, could you get a measurement of the ID?

I'm having an issue with mine and want to confirm a couple things before it goes back to ADM.

my ring are very close but not touching with a Vortex2.5-10. but IIRC, the instructions say to snug up the bottom screws then tighten from the top. did you do this and they are still touching?..

Touching. Way more than enough to grab a piece of paper in them and lift the whole thing up. I measured with no scope in it and got 29.5mm on the front ring and 29.75mm on the rear ring. I'm being told my freakish issues with the scope are because the mount is letting it slip a bit. Uncertain.

What scope is it? If they are measuring smaller than 30mm ID is the scope larger than the 29.75 OD?

Vortex 2.5-10x FFP, I haven't measured the OD yet, but Vortex tells me it's close to 30mm

Just measured it, yea the Vortex is 30.14mm... So... I'm going to send this back mount to ADM and see how they proceed.

I don't see how the rings could be touching if their inside diameter is smaller than your scopes outside diameter. Did you tighten th bottom screws on the rings before tightening the tips screws like mentioned above and in the instructions?

I have a Viper PST 2.5-10 FFP in ADM 30mm rings.

It will take me a minute or two to get a clear picture and upload it. Back in a jiff!

Edit: Unsure how clear or detailed these will be. I left them big incase you wanted them big (Knowing the forum will shrink them unless clicked.)

Yea.... I know... I'm going to do it again right now before I box it up. By 4 different people have installed this scope in these rings already. I'm with you though.

I don't have a way to photograph it right now, but my Vortex Viper PST 1-4x in a ADM recon mount has the same ring appearance as these photographs.
