Which Bobro mount for Leupold Patrol 1.25-4x

I juts ordered a Leupold VX-R Patrol 1.25-4x and I would like to purchase a Bobro mount for it. I am unsure which one to order. Should I order the slightly forward or the extended? I do not shoot nose to charging handle. Generally about 1" back from the CH.
    Thanks

The "slightly forward" variant is the one I use on both my AR-type rifles, one with a VX-R Patrol 1.25-4x20mm and another with a Trijicon TR24.

I have a larue SPR mount on mine, perfect in all aspects.

    I'd go LaRue or ADM.

    And why?

I just went through this and ended up with the standard as I did not like the ring spacing on the extended or slightly forward. The standard mount has 3/4" more ring spacing than the slightly forward or extended. You can place the mount far enough forward to get enough eye relief. May not be an issue for most but was to me. I am running a nightforce 2.5-10x32

I also like the larue mount myself, somewhat more than the bobro mount but I will say the bobro mount fit and finish are very nice.

I don't see the value in a Bobro mount that's 25% more than an ADM. Never had a RTZ issue with the ADM and their service/support is great. I've got the exact optic the OP is talking about in an ADM recon mount and couldn't be happier

I'll remove LaRue from my previous post...been using ADM only for a while now.

I recently addressed the same decision for a Vortex PST 2.5-10x32. I decided on the slightly forward for two reasons:
    1. The forward ring (closest to the objective lens) is in the same location on both the standard and the slightly forward models, but the rear ring (closest to the ocular lens) is .80" forward on the slightly forward model, which allows the scope to be mounted .80" farther forward then the standard mount and consequently offers slightly more flexibility.
    2. I called and spoke to Bobro (presumably Andrew, but I'm not certain) about these mounts and was informed the extended version places the scope .20" higher then the standard / slightly forward mounts. I prefer the standard height, though others may appreciate the slight height increase the extended version offers.

Thanks for the replies. I just ordered the SWFA slightly forward version.
