My wife rocks my AK...she loves that gun...its always nice to have the other half into shooting
If you're talking to me I should point out she's been married more than once, so I'm proceeding with caution.
However, the latest accessory I've given her for her rifle is a BCM Gunfighter medium latch charging handle.
We also spent some time building an FLC vest with mag pouches. She's so thin she didn't need to adjust it as it came out of the package!
Could be worse, my wife came across Duracoat's "Girls love guns" line, I now have a purple shimmer AR sitting in the safe.

So this is going to turn into an evaluation on how I deal with women?
ENOUGH ALREADY!
I had already given her a buttload of other stuff and you weren't there for the conversation where she kept insisting on paying me full price for the Aimpoint. Half price was the compromise that let us move on to other things.
Now NO MORE ON THIS!

No offense, I just left out a lot of unnecessary details because I thought the important thing was getting someone into quality AR's and not to go into a boring play-by-play description of how I came to sell it to her instead of giving it to her.
Truth be told, I offered to give her the Aimpoint on a bet: I installed the rifle on her gun and told her, "If you hit the target on the first shot, it's yours." She hit the target the first time.
This led to a discussion on how the T1 must be pretty expensive, how she didn't think I should just give it away, how it's one I used a couple of times on my weapon and then put it away in my prepper stash, etc.
Long story short: I DID offer to give it to her, and after about a half hour of what I thought was needless arguing on letting or not letting her pay me for it, I gave in and compromised that she could pay me half of what I paid seeing it was brand new.
She's happy. I'm happy.
I've only known her two months and I've given her plenty of other little "gifts" so this was her way of not feeling guilty about it I guess.
So now you guys know the boring details that I left out to begin with.
That should be the end of it as far as I'm concerned.
The last girlfriend took out my BCM LW middy with a Aimpoint T1 at the range once. Next thing she asked:
"Got mine, now where's yours?"
Almost fell in love at the gun store the other day. Lady sales clerk had stopped by as I was browsing and started talking guns. I was checking out the HK45 they had and discussing the attributes of said pistol. She says:
"Yeah, nice and all, but huge in the hands. It's really hard to beat a 1911. It's what I keep in my nightstand. Wilson Combat is the way to go."
Didn't even know her name, but almost proposed to her on the spot. Pretty expensive tastes though lol.
Experience is a cruel teacher, gives the exam first and then the lesson.
LOL. Funny story and all-too true.
Since you guys don't know my girlfriend, maybe I should point out that I wanted to avoid even the appearance of giving goodies as some sort of "bribe" for sexual favors. She's lectured me on how past boyfriends have treated her so that's a consideration at all times.
Back on topic, I'm planning to give her some ongoing training on the proper technique for shooting her weapon, the proper use of her light in a dark house if she hears that noise in the night, and whatnot.
She's also interested in getting a .22-caliber AR for her 9-year-old daughter to shoot, so we plan to attend a gun show this weekend so I can coach her to get a Smith M&P 15-22 or something else appropriate. We may just end up with a Ruger Mark II pistol or something.
