    is?
Rainier has several excellent brands in stock; good BCGs are not as hard to find as they used to be.

    WARNING ABOUT LMT BCG's

Did LMT give you any info about their possible actions against the supplier? I'm sure they're not real happy about the situation either. Very interested to see where this goes.

Last I checked, the keys on LMT carriers have distinct MIM markings. Out of curiosity, are these markings present you yours?

IMO if you have been in contact with them and they say that they aren't going to resolve the issue then you have already gone through the channels. Is it possible that it is "new old stock"?

I will give more details after I get a resolution from the supplier. Otherwise its just "bad mouthing". I wanted to warn everyone right now because if you "use" the BCG its no longer "new" and this supplier MAY NOT allow you to return the part even though they sent the wrong part to begin with.

    Its a MAJOR supplier
    They are generally highly regarded

Unfortunately the only resolution I have been given SO FAR is to return the BCG on MY DIME for a RESTOCK FEE!

So let me get a final answer on what they are going to do, then I will post ALL CORRESPONDENCE since they refuse to call me, its all in emails right now. I will be posting picks later today or tomorrow morning to help people figure out if they received an actual LMT or this unidentified, UNTESTED BCG that I got...

thanks for the heads up...but damn!
    I hope it's not rainier.

I recently bought a LMT BCG from Rainier. I looked it over and saw the MI mark on the bolt and didn't notice a chrome lined or different colored gas key. I did think the carrier looked a little funny, (not as smooth as my DD or BCM bcg's) and probably never fired. But I put it back in it's bag and had to come back to work. That was a couple weeks ago. Now I'll have to wait to see what your looks like in pics.

I plan on following this closely as I just received an LMT complete carrier from Quantico Tactical that was ordered on Black Friday during the $125 dollar deal.

Does it look like this? https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=31957

If so, you likely don't have anything to worry about.

I doubt it.. Their return policy is good and after personally dealing with their CS multiple times, I trust them completely.
