I'm looking at building another, that would make 2 for me. For me 2 will be enough.

They had a Colt 6920 SOCOM for a reasonable price and it was really a sweet weapon. The whole time I ws looking at it, I could hear my credit card screaming from my wallet, "Hey, don't forget I'm in here!"

I resisted the temptation and it got me to thinking, how many ARs are too many? I have only been involved with ARs for about a year and have already managed to pick up three. My daughter even bought herself one. The three that I have are probably more than I will ever NEED, but I still have a list of ARs that I would eventually like to own, as well as a few build ideas. What do you guys think?
Why do you own the three you own? What roll would the 4th fill?

I own two, ones a 16 recce style I built and the other is a soon to be finished 11.5 sbr. I am currently building a 14.5 middy just to round out the collection. Guess it just depends on what roles you want your rifles to fill. Mine all have they're individual purposes, and they do get addicting.

I have more than I can wear out, more than I can shoot at reasonable intervals, but I have what I want and did it the way I want.
If you're using the mortgage, food or some other needed part of the budget to fund them then you have enough, but as long as you're not robbing Peter to pay Paul, do what you want.

It's an addiction. I'm 28 and have 5.... I started out with a POS parts gun and thought that I'd always be happy with that. 5 years later, I've got a DD, BCM, Colt, and 2 others. I think I'll be content with those for a while, until I hear LaRue or Noveske calling my name....
