    Lol for me the answer is I as many as I can get.. I live in CA, no way of knowing how long I can own these things..

    Since the AR platform is so versatile I like the idea of having maybe 3 or 4 AR's for different purposes. say a quality lightweight DI rifle with a shorter barrel setup for CQB, and a good gas piston rifle like a PWS or something similar. I'd like to have an 18 inch barrel AR setup with a nice scope for long distance as well.

    My wife said 1 rifle, 1 handgun, because I wouldn't be able to use more than that at one time. I then asked her why she needed so many purses and heels.

    I now own 2 handguns, 1 sbr, 1 suppressor, 1 .22 rifle, 1 sbs, and I am collecting parts for a 16" rifle and saving for another suppressor now. Not much compared to most, but that makes the score wife 99, me 1.

    In the end I think Stickman said it the best. I need to figure out a way to use that to make the score 99 to 2.

    This is what I pretty much have going on, accept that politics has now once again changed the configuration of AR's in my commie state, and I now have another excuse to built a 3rd AR in this new config.

    For me the magic number is one for each grandkid. I intend to gift them each an AR and pistol when they are old enough. For myself I like to have two: an A4 rifle with variable scope and a M4 carbine with red dot. Thinking of getting an upper in 6.8 and/ or .458. But two is about for just myself.

    I built my first AR with hunting in mind, but the long barrel and scope leave it too heavy for other purposes. When prices get reasonable again, a second is in my future.

    Currently, two.

    Both are Colt 6920's - One in Magpul edition the other a standard EBR.

    The Magpul is mine.

    I've got it set up with an optic, sling, charging handle, new trigger, and butt pad. It's done.

    The other is still a virgin awaiting whether my wife wants it.

    I have more than I need. Between my job & going to FS just about every other month training is covered. I reload everything but 22s or soviet style rifles which I have a decent amount. My motto is if I can't pay cash for it it can wait 'till later. Do what makes you happy if it doesn't hurt anyone in the process

    I have 2 complete and 3 lowers almost ready to go. I just keeping checking different websites for deals. PSA is a good site to check out a few times a week
