Dream Guns & Gear You'd Like to See

Okay, so I thought to start this off I'd dream big.

I want a .45 ACP Glock with a single-stack grip frame made to approximately the same angle and dimensions as a 1911 without the curved hammer spring housing and a slim slide also modeled after the 1911. The rest of the gun would be pure glock but you'd have the option of changing grip panels if you wanted something fancy to dress up the polymer frame a tad.

I want the AR redesigned so that the rear takedown and front pivot pins push out toward the left instead of right. I'm tired of accidentally pushing in one of these pins while out hiking with my carbine. I guess it keeps bumping into my gear.

I want to see an optic the size of an Aimpoint T1 that doesn't require a battery and has the same ability to survive abuse.

I want a set of aluminum handguards machined to look like the standard plastic AR handguards.

I want to see a version of the light-barreled Colt Law Enforcement Carbine be produced with the removable carry handle.

I want Ruger to go back to making full grip frames like the Security Six and Service Six and forget this stupid amputee grip frame like on the GP-100.

I want Smith & Wesson to go back to making all their revolvers without the internal lock.

    Knew that was coming.

I personally want some kind of RDS that will co witness on SIG and HK rifles.

A single stack Glock 19. A single stack Glock 21, too.

The fabeled Glock carbine in 10MM

Really, I'm not a Glock fanboy, at all

An AR with a folding stock. A redesign that doesn't require a receiver extension.

Buy skinny handguards, sell M4 handguard on gunbroker.

And personally I'd just put a better rear sight on it.

    I hear ya...

My bias is that I had an all-original Colt Law Enforcement Carbine about 7 years ago, and one reason it got sold is because of the fixed carry handle.

I'd love to have the same thing--all original Colt--with removable carry handle (included).

I wish Marlin would release their stainless 1894 in .357 and .44 that had the 16" barrel, scout rail, and laminate pistol grip stock.

    Ruger 1911 in 9mm.

Return of the Ruger .44 lever gun.

    HK P30 in .357 Sig.

I realize none of these will happen, but it would be fun for me if they did.

So...buy an original Colt carry handle as well. None of these things are serial numbered to the gun. They don't make special lots of carry handles for the 6920, 6720 and 6933. They all get pulled out of the same bin at Colt.

A true 1-6 variable optic in the size range of the current Aimpoint Pro with the same quality and features. Add the Burris XTR reticle with a longer battery life for good measure.

Bring back the Browning BDM in 9mm and replace the cheap plastic sights and guide rod with aluminum and steel respectively. And a compact version.

Not a gear or gun, but would like to see NFA34 repealed so one can pick up their SBRs and suppressors at the local Wally World if they so desire. (figure everyone on here would want this)
