My dream achievable firearms (non-full auto, etc..) would be the following:

1) A fully modernized BHP in 9mm
2) a midsize S&W M&P9 with no accuracy issues and a DCAEK type trigger (size similar to M&P 45C with magazine capacity around 15 rounds.
3) colt 6720 with 14.5 inch pinned Colt Canada CHF barrel
4) STG 44 and possibly a FG42 clone
5) a modernized AR18 with comparable features and build quality to a colt/bcm AR priced at under $1000.

-Real SIGs again (rifles and pistols), not the Cohen crap

- New production Colt DA revolvers, particularly the Detective Special and their bretheren (Kobra, Agent), ideally with a true internal hammer arrangement a la Smith Centennials, though some new Diamondbacks would be bitchin' too. (P.S. with matching Crimson Trace Laser Grips)

- Glocks without those stupid f***ing finger grooves, especially the G19

- New Marlin leverguns that actually work from the factory, particularly the 1894C

- New Triple-lock Smith & Wesson DA K/L and N frames (without the stupid safety lock, of course)

I'm sure there are more, those are just the ones off the top of my head.

Safarland ALS holsters for HK P30L with SureFire X300 in FDE/brown.

A low profile split-front chest rig with integrated magazine pouches enclosed by some sort of flap-with-buckle system. Preferably in Kryptek Highlander. But coyote brown is OK.

Another vote for a single-stack Glock 45 Auto, in G34/35 size.

"Enhanced" capacity magazines for H&K P30 and HK45/HK45C. Say ~20-25 rounds in 9mm (and whatever that translates into for the 40 S&W) and ~12-13 in 45.

A P30SK.

A self-loading rifle of reputable quality and light weight in 7x46mm.

FN FAL in 7.92x33mm.

An Elcan SpecterDR on a diet with LT or ADM or Bobro mounts.

Factory lower for the FN SCAR 17S that accepts Pmags.

And I'm gonna cut it (for now) at that. I'm sure I'll think of a few dozen more things if I sit here for too long.

Like to see an MP5 type gun made in the USA. A US made semi auto detachable magazine fed shotgun, Single stack Glock 26. The Bren Ten from Vltor. Long slide Glock 20.

Okay so the phased plasma rifles are still down the road. I'd like to see anti 2nd legislation overturned and a influx of real McCoy Kalashnikov variants imported, several Finnish Rynnakkokivaari 95 TP's would be at the top of my list.

Doc Glockster, I have several 6720's. You won't be disappointed, just loose the Rogers stock and replace it with a B5, CTR, etc. your, preferred grip and hand guards. I also opted for DD A1.5s for my rear sights.

Can't comment on the quality, but you might want to look at the SIG MPX series.

Real SIGs?

Hell...real EVERYTHING again. SIGs, Winchesters, Marlins...you name it.

No more MIM or cast crap, ditch the odd safeties on lever action rifles that were not original and the other deviations and monstrosities that are nowhere near the quality of guns made 20-30 years ago.

The gun industry has a bad habit of fixing things that are not broken.

Polymer version of an HK P7.

Colt 6921's w/ Canadian Colt CHF barrels, that are easily available.

Midlength Colt 6920.

Optic that goes from 1x to 2.5x to 5x to 10xw/ detents for these magnification ranges.

Colt M16 A1 1x7 20" barrels.

M&P9 that is HK accurate.
