Wouldn't go that far yet and one can't dismiss the backlash and recall efforts in CO. But still without a very strong swing in our favor that is likely to be a nothing more than a chubby finger in the dike.

The left has detailed plans for the institutional takeover of states like TX and AZ in place. Whether or not it happens to them it is only a matter of time.

Can we say the same as a whole about retaking any liberal state? Could any of us possibly care less about doing so?

Sadly this has become all too true. You basically cannot function without prior govt approval. And they still need to read my email, pat me down on the street, etc.

By contrast if we did the same we'd lost our jobs, our rights to own firearms and possibly even our families.

While this is valid on a certain level you can not possibly convince me that every or even most liberal individuals participating in what they consider to be meaningful rallies are essential gypsies.

They coordinate with those at work or in the neighborhood for group transportation, take the day off work and go to be seen. To portray it as too difficult or impractical because we're not that way is extremely detrimental to any future cause.

It can be done by working people if it means enough. We are not doing it by pure choice enhanced by fundamental weakness.

Those that enjoy biased media backing do not, such as on abortion issues. The G10 and occupy crowd are a different story.

Unlike abortion rights issues, we typically do not enjoy media support. We are as "on our own" as the occupy crowd, they probably actually get more positive media coverage than us.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

Gotta agree with that. With that said, I guess my file at the NSA just got a little thicker.

Pretty sure in that in excess of 1 million individuals in DC would draw plenty of attention via any given venue. It has been done before.

Make it two million and even MSNBC would donate days of coverage and commentary to it.

There are no more excuses. We are weak.

I don't understand the logic behind this. What good could this possibly do ?

Who does this law protect and who could be benefitting from this besides the government ?

From the outside looking in the only people they seem to want to hurt are law abiding citizens who might mistakenly bring brass into dc in their cars or on keychains.

    What's next ? Gun powder residue ?
