So for a while, I haven been designating "extra" rifles for my wife but she has never had her own. A few months ago, I was chatting with her and decided to sell her ol' Mossy 500 and build her a nice light rifle, just incase anyone wants 30rds when coming into my house.

Anyways. I figured I liked her rifle so much, It deserved its own thread. Code name MK "Wifey"Mod0

Here are the current specs on her rifle.

When parts arrived. Only "blem" I saw on the lower was this casting. Looks like they forgot to remove it before coating. Oh we'll it's covered.

Anyone know a grip that is more female friendly? I cannot stand her putting the rifle on safe with her weak hand..

Aren't the K grip the same as MOE but with rubber? I'll see if anyone local has the ergo to see how it fits in her hand.

No the moe+ is the moe with rubber. The k grip is thinner and more vertical.

My girl likes the Ergo grip, like the ones shipped on LMTs...might be worth checking out.

My suggestion for a PG for anyone with smaller hands is an A2 with the nub removed (5 minutes on a belt sander) and a "gapper" or magpul trigger guard.

Cool build, I am interested to see how your wife digs it once it's done.

Thanks, the rifle has a magpul trigger guard currently.

The Rainer arms bcg came in, I'll have pics later but I wonder what in the world it was covered in.

My "Lady Rifle uses a K Grip tends to work well.

Here it is. Bolt is marked MPI, it came covered in some nasty stuff that took alot of CLP to remove. They said chromelined, but it seems to have some other type of coating the same things as the firing pin. See pictures to see...
