    Status of 75gr TAP Practice

Just as the title suggests, does anyone have any hard data as to the status and availability of this ammo to the average non-mil/LEO type? I know Grant lists it on his site but I haven't seen it in stock in many moons.

    Thanks

I have bought it at GT Distributors in Austin
not NEARLY as accurate as 75g TAP
my 16" sabre upper puts the tap in one hole at 50 yards
about an inch or more with the practice stuff

Which one? 5.56 or FPD? I can live with the reduced accuracy given the rounds cost 1/2 as much. Thanks for the reply!

Does the lacquer case cause any problems for the ARs? Does this ammo require any additional cleaning procedures?

From everything I've heard no, not really. It is always a good idea to clean out your chamber really well with a GI chamber brush when going from steel to brass cartridges.

This is assuming you can even get this damn ammo

Guess I'll be trying to find more BH Blue SMKs. Anyone know where to get some white box BH Mk. 262?
