Finally got to the range this morning and put the first rounds through her. Had a variety of ammo (Remington, PMC, Tula steel case) and magazines (Pmag, Tapco, Lancer, USGI). Just over 150 rounds fired and had 0 issues. Accuracy is on par with the iron sights I am running. She runs smooth as silk, eats up whatever I feed her and puts BIG smiles on my face! What a blast to shoot!

I giggle uncontrollably like a little kid when firing this thing. HUGE fun factor, love it!

Probably that last line that makes some uncomfortable considering everyone has a stock in their possession which will fit.

OP, I have an 11.5" BCM and use a standard carbine spring with H buffer and it runs on everything thing and is pleasant to shoot. Tried the A5 on it but didn't like it. Functioned well but caused more wobble in my red dot while shooting at speed. I believe it may have been because it changed the timing of the recoil impulse I am used to.

Those letters don't mean shit to a "uneducated" cop
they'll put you thru the ringer take your gun and tell you the courts will deal with it and to me it ain't worth it, money wise and time wise,
all for what because somebody is trying to play the system???
As I stated in another thread it would take mere seconds for some anti 2A cop to slip a stock on it to fk you over and take your gun.
You could have this gun next to a carbine and a cop could easily state that you could interchange buttstocks and then LE is taking both your guns
As much as you think you can you ain't going to beat the government or the system.

They will fk you and they will win, you papers are toilet paper to the uneducated LEO on the streets.

The last sentence in the last paragraph in that FBI letter states-

HOWEVER, possessing a rifle buttstock that could be READILY installed on your pistol could constitute possession of an SBR.

A stock that can be removed from a legal carbine in seconds and installed on that RE in seconds easily constitutes "readily" installed.

    Good luck with your game.

Win on the ghetto wording and profanity. Great way to get a point across.
From TOS ... "buy the shit out of that thing, all the mil spec is just nonsense."

People get hung up on federal stuff, and sometimes forget that the states also have their own laws. Know your STATE definitions for SBR/pistol/rifle/etc. before coming to any conclusions.

But following your logic, and assuming your state statute refers to the federal definitions of these things (which most do), then

    A. Ignorant cop is shown the ATF opinion, issue over before it begins
    B. Corrupt cop knows this configuration is legal, but is, for some reason, willing to tamper with evidence, withhold evidence, arrest falsely, purger himself in 5 or 6 different ways, and commit any number of other felonious offenses..... just for spite?

I can't seem to make the above work, following a number of lines of logic.

I think you're letting your imagination run a bit, guy.

If you know the law - understanding the law, and exceptions/exemptions/conditions that affect it, etc.- and, for edgy topics like this, if you carry copies of the law/rulings/opinions with you or have otherwise immediate access to them, and if you remain calm and professional in any dealings with police regarding the issue..... you will always be fine.

Our system isn't perfect, but it is very functional, and works well.

How bout "C"? That's where an unknowing cop who means well but is ignorant on NFA laws and such doesn't trust some piece of paper "you" produced so they'd prefer to take you and your gun into custody till they get things figured out????

If he wants to be like that, you're going to be inconvenienced. But you're still not going to be a felon.
