I would love to give you a tour of the college town I worked in at 3:30 am, it may change your mind.

That's 30 minutes before you head back to the ship and and 90 minutes before reveille.

Have I been shot? Yes. Have I been shot while drunk? No. Have I ND'd a round out the front window of my truck while drunk at a Sonic restaurant? Yes and am ashamed of it but it does make a slightly funny story. Yet I am not proud of anything I've done while I went through my old drinking problem. It does compliment my dark humor quite well though.

To misquote Rick James: "Cherry Limeade is a hellova drug."

Jaxman7, I'm not making light of the challenges you faced. Just engaging in some of the same dark humor you mentioned. I'll bet you a large order of chili-cheese tots that we likely tell many of the same jokes.

Hey no problem SS and I'll take that bet.

Cherry limeade turns you into a raving addict especially when you get the Route 66 size!

    Let's take a deep breath.

Reread my post from the perspective of someone who had just messed up big time and doesn't want to talk to the police.

Does it sound a little less anti-cop now?

I had no words when I first read the story. I was just trying to fathom the level of drunk you'd have to be to forget being SHOT!
This incident begs the question, was it self inflicted or was he shot by someone he knows while they were dicking around with a pistol?
