I'll even throw in a "Triple Dog Dare" to make sure this happens.

    Can't wait for the video!

Speaking of gun shops only stocking low quality AR's, I got a call last week from a guy in the sand box. He wanted to know if we stocked YHM AR's. I advised him that we did not, but did have Colt, BCM, DD, and Noveske in stock. He wasn't interested in any of those.

Grant, I see it everyday at the shop, I say buy once ,cry once as well,,, customer sometimes doesn't care , what gives?, colt's bravos, LMT's on the wall at exact same time . I was taking the barrel nut off a rock river ar for a rail and the index pin on the barrel extension fell off, head scratching. I have a running bet with the people at the shop, for every colt, bravo, lmt, knights, noveske basically TDP/ damn close gun i will pay them 50 bucks for everyone that has manufacture defects/problems, for all others dpms,s&w,olympic etc , they have to pay me 15 bucks , no one has taken the bet

Job security.... I wonder if it the same material as the pos thermold mags. If so it can be used to make a fire it was one of its selling points for them in early 90s
I'd rather have my old (sgw) Olympic than a bm carbon.

Grant, I have a confession to make. When the Carbon 15s first came out, I came within a gnat's eyelash of buying one- and had my brother talked into it as well. They were light and very inexpensive (actually, they were cheap). I'd like to say I was smart in not buying one but it was dumb luck. I don't remember why we didn't follow through, but whatever it was, I'm glad I don't have a "I Was a Bushmaster Owner Once" story to tell

I was actually just about to ask why, specifically, the Carbon models are so terrible... I guess the above photo answered my question.

Not really finding any specs on this on google. I've seen them for years, but never having any interest in Bushmaster, I've never even bothered to look at them. Are they just plastic receivers and regular everything else?

Use a magnifying glass on it during a sunny day. Don't breathe the fumes though.
