Photoshop?? Sure guys swim with their guns but setting up to shoot under water... I don't think so. The bullet would not go far even if the barrel didn't rupture. I would like to know how long after exiting the water do you have to wait before firing. I imagine the guns guys swim with have a few extra holes in them for drainage. At least in the receiver extension and magazine. Any Seals listening? GH

So, do we conclude that deep water capability of an RDS is indicative of its overall quality? I'm OK with that concept, but does that mean that the Aimpoint H-1 or R-1 (which are touted around here as being "every bit as good as the T-1") are therefore significantly inferior to the T-1?

H-1 rated waterproof to 15 feet.
T-1 rated waterproof to 80 feet.

Perhaps totally off-topic, but why is it that pistols seem to function perfectly fine underwater (I done seen it on Youtube!), but apparently water will **** up your rifle?

Not necessarily. There are hypercavitating projectiles with significant range in water. I don't know if that is just fired into water, or underwater firing, though.
