Isn't it generally regarded as a horrible idea to fire a gun underwater? Seems to me so long as the optic can get wet it is good to go. I would say very very few people need a Scuba ready optic.

In the video, he is using a Kalashnikov. I am sure a .556 or .762 would do better, but this is a great reference.
