They are made for the 45 degree position on the KAC URX 4, which looks like it has the room for them. BCM is planning a KM sight set, according to the industry forum on another site.

PS, the KACs don't seem to be available anywhere. Unubtanium!

I couldn't help myself, I decided to throw caution to the wind and run a texture on the side panels.

I also decided to heat colorize the stainless screws. Brown looked OK, a hint towards purple/blue a bit better IMO.

It's a material made popular by people customizing their pocket knife handles. They call them "Scales".

I'd say it feels a little like hardened fiber glass.

BZDog....Those are the coolest Keymod covers I've seen yet. How much did they cost total and do you think you could link the hardware you used?

I saw an interesting new KeyMod fore grip by Fortis. It's weird looking, but seems like it could be comfortable.

    Thanks.

Shipping is the killer, esp. for the Keymod nuts, so it would be optimal to buy locally or in quantity or a group buy. In my case, I did order more to reduce the price. I'm listing prices as if you were to just buy enough for the job.

    G10 - OD Green & Black 3/16"x1.5"x6" pair of scales 2x2 layer
    2 at $8.58ea. + 6.20 shipping = $23.36
( item is a pair of scale blanks for a total of 4 pieces )

    keymod nut, product number: 55DA207
    6 at $3.25 ea. + $15 shipping = $34.50

    The Hillman Group 4-Count #8-32 x 3/8-in Button-Head Stainless Steel Allen-Drive Socket Cap Screw, item #: 213981, model #: 883342
    2 at $1.87 ea. + .37 tax = $4.11

    total $61.97

To put this in context, I had previously purchased three sets of the Noveske covers to get the long coverage I wanted. From Midway, that works out to be:

    3 at $11.83 + 4.75 shipping = $40.24

Thanks man. If I knew I wouldn't screw up the G10 I'd order it tomorrow.
