My next project is actually gonna be a 11.5 SBR after I sell my 14.5 w/the dd lite. How is having a 9"rail? I shoot with my support arm extended forward and I feel like 9" would put my arm almost all the way to the end.
The NSR is nice. It's not magic but I have no complaints. It's a very serviceable rail system and has the advantage of being very light and very thin. It gets pretty hot in sustained fire (no heat shield). The 9 inch works fine on my 11.5 inch SBR no problem. The way I grip my rifle, it's very comfortable. The prior set up used a DD Lite 9.0, but that was so bulky it was hard to grip until I put an AFG on it. The way I have it set up now is better for me.

Thanks for the feedback. If Centurion doesn't have a short enough CMR when a build my SBR, I'm gonna go with the NSR. This CMR is my first tubular style rail and I really like it so far.

Yeah, I like the look of that Centurion. I wonder if they're going to make a 9, and if so what it would weigh. Getting the weight off the front end of my SBR made a huge difference in handling compared to the DD Lite 9.

The weight differences between the two aren't really that much. Going off the bigger ones, the 13.5" NSR is 11 oz w/barrel nut and the 14" CMR is 11.6 oz w/barrel nut. So I would assume if they made a 9" or 10" it would be comparable to the weight of the NSR. Personally I'm hoping they make a 10" or 11".
Making the switch from the dd lite w/ standard barrel to Centurions LW profile and the CMR was drastic both in weight and feel. It was so different to me at first I didn't know if I was gonna like it. I'd grown pretty accustomed to the lite. But now after only a little more than a week or so with it and it's amazing how much this thing has grown on me. Its balanced great and handles amazing. Now I just need to take some pics of my 14.5 and post it on the EE.

    Nice stick.

(Disregarding cost) you'll like either one for the reduced pull weight over a GI trigger... Fit finish durability etc aside
    2. IME look at a M600 over M300 on long rail like that. also whether you run vampire or white the throw is better (not that the M300s are bad).

Thanks for the info, I appreciate the feedback. You can tell by my post count I don't post a lot but I read on here just about everyday. I've read that thread actually and I've heard a couple other people mention that they don't think the SD-C is worth the difference over the SSA. Which is one of the reasons I'm leaning more towards the SSA.

I haven't really looked at the M600 to much. Reason being, I know a few people who run the M300 and swear by it, also other then training it's gonna serve as my HD gun and being that I won't be chasing anybody around outside I didn't see the need for the M600. I'll look more into it tho, hopefully I can find a video or post comparing the two. But I'm definitely open to suggestions and input.

That was older pricing, isn't really a difference anymore. $230 vs $210. G2S @ $165 is probably best value as of today (have none but should function like SS series).

You are right on the Scouts in that you don't necessarily "need" the extra light (a small indoor comparison vid wouldn't help much, they will both light up a wall). Reason for M600 on a long rail like that without pressure switch, the M600 body is longer and lets you bring your grip in more. (roughly 1.5 inches IIRC so nothing drastic)

Again, nice rifle! (can say that honestly when I wouldnt hesitate to buy most of those very same parts)

I see what your saying about the lights now. I would plan on using a pressure switch with m300 if I went that route.

For some reason I thought the price difference between the SD-C and SSA was more. I guess it's been longer than I thought since I've looked at them.

Thanks again for the input, I appreciate it.
