    Need new shot timer

Need recommendations on new shot timer. If you or your club has had
good service I sure would like to hear about it.
Due to Competition Electronics refusal to warranty their product, I would
not buy anything from them at any price.

    Re: Need new shot timer

All shot timers suck equally. I use the 7k because it's light and dosent go flying. It velcros to stuff.

EDIT: I've yet to have one shit on me, but they do crash and burn a lot. My ClubIII was heavy and didnt like to stay on the belt when running. My club uses the CED7k for all it's matches and they seem to do ok.

Not a dedicated shot timer but SureFire has a FREE shot timer for your Iphone. It has varios selectable delay's for the buzzer, records splt times for each shot and total elapsed times. Also email's the result's very easy. I use mine for IDPA practice and it's really helpful.

I've used it and it is not accurate at all. Maybe I just don't know how to calibrate it, but it was giving me times that were up to .75 seconds off of actual time.

Sorry, this is a frequently discussed topic with a number of excellent, existing threads. I used search term "timer" on thread titles only and limited it to this subforjm for these results:

I would like to check out this new Double Alpha wrist watch shot timer I saw an ad for in the latest Front Sight. If anyone gets ahold of one, let us know your thoughts.
