Grand Theft Auto 5

Rented a copy of GTA 5 today and returned it two hours later. Even after deleting all my stored data, I still didn't have enough space to do the initial 8gb install.

I've been doing a lot more game work the last few years. It's becoming my main source of income. Never play any of them, but they sure do seem to be increasingly popular and their creators are wanting more and more "film-like" sounds for them. Fewer memory restrictions is a good thing for me. This title looks like a lot of fun, I must say.

I used to kinda enjoy GTA.

But now Saints Row 4 is out. And I really have no desire to play GTA, any more.

Especially when I can rock out with Captain Malcolm "Mal" Reynolds's Moses Brothers Self-Defense Frontier Engine Model B... with airburst rounds. Or Officer Alex J. "Murph" Murphy's Auto-9. And then run up a building, grab a short bus with my mind and throw it at those dastardly alien invaders....

Never been much of a GTA fan. Too busy playing Guildwars 2 and Mechwarrior online.

A buddy of mine drove an hour to stand in line in Lincoln to get it and then played for like 24hrs solid after that. I got these texts in order and haven't heard from him since. lol

Him: First heist about to go down. Feels like the movie Heat!
Me: Haha
<a couple hours pass>
Him: I just picked up two drunk hitch hikers and sold them to a cult for $2k. I feel dirty.
Me: That escalated quickly!
Him: Like seriously, it was a male & female hitchhiker. They started questioning where I was taking them and then they started crying when I handed them off to a guy with a gun in the mountains. It was pretty disturbing.

....radio silence since. lol

I should see if he's alright.

I'm loving it so far. I wish online would launch. Trevor cracks me up. I laugh ebery time I spawn on him and he's puking in the fountain. Add me in xbox if you want.
