Let's get this conversation back on topic as there's some misinformation already and I don't want to see a GTAV thread turn into a Sony v M$ debate. Suffice it to say there are a LOT of rumors going around (mostly negative) that are inaccurate so before you take someone's word on ANYTHING on the new consoles DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. Trust nothing that isn't Sony or M$ direct as the smear campaigns are almost worse than the presidential bids at this point. Some stuff was done or not done early on to get media attention and to spark debate and just as predicted most all of the controversial items have since been recalled and there's still a couple of months until they ship so plenty of time for more additional changes. I'm always cracked up by people who get so worked up over something that isn't even out yet. Until it's on the shelves I won't believe anything I hear/see/read and I would advise doing the same. This isn't the proper place for this discussion so let's just leave it at that.

I'm renting this from Redbox after my last class today. I'm slammed next week though so I probably won't buy it for a week or so but I'm excited to try it out.

Just a note, you can buy a $10 usb flash drive with 10 gigs and use it in your xbox.

Yeah; I wasnt going to make a special trip out to buy a flash drive or drive a hour (round trip) to get one of the drives I have at the office for a rented game.

I've never used Red Box. Maybe this is a good opportunity to give it a whirl.

Back on topic, has there been any word as to when the multi-player environment will be rolled out? This seems like the really exciting part of GTA-V.

This is what I'm waiting on. No Multi-player means no real motivation for me to pay $70 to buy it now. I'll get it next year when I'm bored of Ghosts. I buy games with good MP's at release because that's when all of my friends play. Games w/o MP I wait a couple of years to buy cheap. I'm playing the Assassin's Creed series now for example.
