Benghazi: democrats walk out on relatives of Benghazi victims...

In a display of sheer contempt, almost every democratic member of the House Oversight Committee, walked out to avoid hearing testimony from the relatives of two slain Benghazi victims. This marks the lowest point in democratic scruples , since they booed God at their national convention. To their credit, Elijah Cummings, ranking member of the committee and Jackie Speier, remained.

I don't know if this has been covered here or not, if so my bad, if not, here you go....

You know, some hard dudes in the 1700's would've cooked up some tar and plucked some chickens over this. We are certainly not made of the same stuff.

Even if you don't agree with what is said, a person should show respect for the families of those who were killed. This was a display of an unfathomable amount of disrespect.

When you are elected to political office, you are paid to listen. The Democ-Rats who got up and walked out have forgotten this.

Guess the truth was just too painful for them.

Article (and OP) left out a very inconvenient detail...

There were almost no Republicans there either...

"UPDATE: It turns out there weren't a whole lot of Republicans in the hearing room for Smith and Wood's testimony either. They should have been there. That being said, here's the difference: Republicans have promised Smith and Woods answers about what happened in Benghazi and their continued efforts to hold hearings, issue subpoenas, etc. prove it. Charles Woods went out of his way during testimony to thank Republican Rep. Jason Chaffetz for his help. Democrats have repeatedly called the attack, and it's cover-up, a 'phony scandal' and a political witch hunt. "

Do you really think the Republicans give a long wet fart about those dead Americans and their families? Or do you think it's political grandstanding?

When will people learn that there is little difference between the two parties? The contempt both have for Americans is palpable.

    Democrats suck, Republicans blow.

    Low...
    John

If you spend much time around the guys who really, really know their craft, and who truly live this stuff, you tend to find that they are very soft-spoken and modest -- almost to the extreme. To my mind, that is a model worthy of emulation

We need two more parties: One to squeeze, one to bang and we'll have ourselves a regular internal combustion engine.

    LOL..

Parties need to be banned period. Instead of electing people to represent the republican or democrat party we need to elect people to rep their constituents and America.
