I've had the same issue. Tried using a KAC trigger guard on a chainsaw lower and it just wasn't working. Ended up having to file down the KAC trigger guard to make it fit, so it's all good now, but I shouldn't have had to resort to that. The front takedown pin hole was very tight as well. I'll be completing the lower build this weekend, so I'll be sure to highlight any more issues if I run into any. But hey, it's a chainsaw after all.
WRT the scarcity of Noveske components, since the panic I've been able to get a chainsaw N4 lower and upper, 11.5" barrel w/ pinned gas block, Noveske marked GFCH and takedown pins. Since I felt compelled to buy at least one factory built carbine after the panic, Noveske was one of the companies on the top of my list, especially considering the untimely death of John. I had opportunities to snag complete N4 rifles, but ended up with a KAC SR-15 instead. No regrets.
